"I ended up having a sonogram at eight weeks because by
OB-Gyn thought I was having twins! She was wrong, but what I learned
that day, turned my entire world around. I was able to see and hear my
baby's heart beat. I was able to see him swimming around and having the
time of his life. He looked like that
Planter's Peanut guy, he was that tiny. After my appointment, I went out
and bought a dozen of prenatal books and was stunned to see how
developed these
little babies really are."

"Blood work was back I was pregnant, so we scheduled an
ultrasound, Up to this point 3 weeks later, I think we were both in
serious shock, up until I started vomiting every hour on the hour. Then
we realized we needed to decide. Still unsure we went for the
ultrasound, The moment we looked at the screen, and saw a little baby ,
with a heartbeat , we both started crying, we didn't know how but we
were keeping this baby we made out of love. We were 8 weeks
pregnant."

"I was five months and I was very happy and excited I could not
wait to see him in my arms. Here is this little boy who looks and feels
so real and alive. He is so human in every way with his 10 fingers and
toes. He flashed his gender. He had the hiccups and he was smiling. I
was so happy that we had finally conceived this little boy."
- Teresa, talking about her son Alex.
"I laid on the table and they were ready to start the procedure.
The Doctor first had to do an ultrasound to determine the size and
placement of the unborn baby. He pressed so hard. My baby KICKED. It was
then I knew it was ALIVE. I kindly sat up and canceled the
procedure."

I saw the little spark that shows that of the beating heart at 6-7
weeks... my husband got tears in his eyes."
- Karla, talking about her daughter Skylar
"Then, I went and had my blood taken. They did an ultrasound and
the nurse told me not to look."
- Michelle, describing her experience at an abortion clinic. She
changed her mind and saved her daughter's life. Babies

"Most women hear their baby's heart beat as a first step in
pregnancy. I saw my baby on my first visit to the abortion clinic. At 14
weeks, I already wanted to hold it, it was so much bigger than I
thought, so defined. I watched my baby's fast heart beat, it's little
chest rise and fall, and I watched it kick as she moved the ultrasound
wand. My baby. I'll take that image to my grave. The next day I returned
for the operation, why? Because two people took time off work to take
me, not because I wanted to be there. I know I took things harder than
most, but I'll never forget the sounds , I don't feel anyone human
could. I didn't judge any of the girls in the recovery room for their
decisions, but it hurt me that most of them showed no remorse and
instead, relief. I live now in regret"

"I have one child (two years old). He is my heart and soul. I
contemplated having an abortion with him. I went all the way to the
clinic and proceeded with the preparations. However, I when I was given
the sonogram, I asked to see my child living and breathing through me. I
was 11 weeks pregnant. I saw my son in the screen kicking and moving his
arms! I could not believe it. At that point, I asked for my money back
(I only could get a portion), and I left that clinic and did not look
back. "

"From the moment my son was born I KNEW I had made the
right choice. He was so beautiful and he made all these little facial
expressions and I just loved him so much. In fact when he was 9 weeks in
the womb I had some bleeding and I went to the ER and had an emergency
ultrasound and he was SWIMMING around my uterus."

"Around 16 weeks, I was very ill and [had] an ultrasound. I
still look at that picture. It was the most incredible experience to see
that little baby laying there, kicking and wiggling. I was
overwhelmed."

"I was stunned when I saw on the ultrasound a tiny, living
creature spinning around in my womb. Tap-dancing, I think. Waving its
tiny arms around and trying to suck its thumb. I could have sworn I
heard it laughing."
- Madonna (yes, the celebrity), describing her daughter Lourdes
